BAR OWNERS SPEAK OUT FOR RIGHT TO ALLOW SMOKING
Bar owners and smokers spoke to members of the Kanawha-Charleston
Board of Health, urging them to rethink expanding the county's
smoking ban any further.
"I own my business. I should have the right to say I'm a smoking
bar," said Keith Jenkins, who owns The Cantina in Kanawha City.
"This is my livelihood."
Non-smokers said they have rights too -- the right to go into a
building and not have to breathe cancer-causing secondhand
smoke.
